This editorial project is the result of a collaboration with MengLi Zhang, a Milan-based photographer, who documented rare moments in YanJiao, China, in 2014.
In April 2020, MengLi and I began working on this photo book, which was completed and printed in June 2020. Drawing inspiration from MengLi's distinctive photography style, I crafted the editorial design and typography to complement and enhance the storytelling, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative.
The cover design and color palette were thoughtfully selected to embody the central theme of "Light", which unifies the entire project.
